Last updated: January 27, 2026

Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. Crownview Hamden Concrete reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.

Services

Crownview Hamden Concrete provides residential and commercial concrete services in Hamden, CT and surrounding areas. All services are subject to availability and project scheduling. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason. Service descriptions on our website are general in nature. Actual project specifications will be detailed in written estimates and contracts provided before work begins.

Estimates and Pricing

All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Estimates are based on information provided by the customer and site conditions observed during the initial visit. If site conditions change or additional work is required beyond the original scope, pricing may be adjusted. Final pricing will be confirmed in writing before work begins. Prices do not include permit fees, which are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated in the contract.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your project contract. Typically, we require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due upon project completion. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Payment is due immediately upon completion unless other arrangements have been made in writing. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by Connecticut law. If legal action is required to collect payment, the customer agrees to pay all collection costs, including reasonable attorney fees.

Project Changes and Cancellations

Changes to project scope must be requested in writing and approved by Crownview Hamden Concrete before implementation. Additional charges may apply for change orders. If you need to cancel a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start date may result in forfeiture of your deposit to cover materials ordered and scheduling losses. If we need to cancel or reschedule due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you promptly and work to reschedule at your earliest convenience.

Warranties

We stand behind the quality of our work. Warranty terms for specific projects will be detailed in your contract. Generally, we warranty our workmanship for one year from project completion. This warranty covers defects in installation and workmanship but does not cover damage from improper use, lack of maintenance, or natural settling. Concrete is a natural material that may develop minor hairline cracks due to settling, temperature changes, or other factors beyond our control. Such minor cracking is normal and is not covered under warranty. Any warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period.

Liability

Crownview Hamden Concrete maintains liability insurance and workers compensation coverage as required by Connecticut law. We take reasonable precautions to protect your property during our work. However, we are not responsible for damage to underground utilities, septic systems, irrigation lines, or other hidden features that were not marked or disclosed before work began. It is the customer's responsibility to have all underground utilities marked by calling 811 before work begins. We are not liable for consequential or indirect damages arising from our work or any delays in project completion.

Property Access

By contracting our services, you grant us permission to access your property as needed to complete the work. This includes bringing equipment, materials, and personnel onto your property during normal business hours. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption and protect landscaping, but some disturbance may be unavoidable during concrete work. You are responsible for removing any personal property, vehicles, or obstacles from the work area before our arrival.

Force Majeure

Crownview Hamden Concrete is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, material shortages, equipment failures, labor disputes, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to complete your project as soon as conditions permit.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the parties agree to mediation before pursuing legal action. Any legal disputes will be resolved in the courts of Connecticut, and these terms shall be governed by Connecticut law.
